02-20-12:Whoa man has it been a long time since this front page has been updated. The Mondo Cool Business has been picking up. Thanks to the help of some great friends and all you lovely fans I've managed to get product for review and managed to make some money along the way. It feels absolutely wonderful to see things taking off. Sure it's not a lot and I've got further to go before I can call it a career but it's happening. I'll get there. Champion shit.
02-11-11:Man it sure has been a while since I've fucked with the news page! I keep Mondocoolcast.com updated as shit though and even have partners on the site! Big time stuff.
Since my last post I've done everything I need to do to have a public access show. I just need to make a few episodes and get them aired. I'll do something about that next week for sure.
I've got one TV airable ep in the can. Am like 75% done on the second ep and think I can hammer out episode 3 and all episodes after that out a lot faster. Good times.
Also I'm trying to raise funding for a Documentary, more on that at my other site but this will be a good thing if the funding goes through.
04-03-10:So I've got a podcast now. It's turning out pretty awesome. I'm at least pretty excited about how the first two episdoes have come out. I'm thinking I need to throw out my URL a few more times throughout the show.
Also I need to think about how I can turn this website into my main hub for all things JerryTerrifying. So that everyone can just come here and get my mondocool webblog infor, my twitter info, my youtube info and all that other sweet ass info! I'll think on it and get to work next week.

03-27-10:It's been a while since I've updated the main news page on the old home site so I figured I'd tell you what I've been up to.
It seems like my Mondocool blog is getting more traffic than this page. But then again this sites always been for my own personal use really. I've started a podcast, the first episode is up
and the second one is already in the works. I've got a special guest making an appearence and we'll be talking about old video games magazines and his experience being in gaming journalism.
I'm not sure if I'm going to point the mondocool url at the Mondo Cool Cast or not. I'll think about it. :D I can always try to merge the sites together or just build another site that incorporates the two projects.
Basically the Mondo Cool Cast is the mp3 version of the blog. Same goals and purpose just a new method of deliery to the end user. Also Podcasts are all the rage and popular right now. I probably should have jumped on
this band wagon a year or two ago. Better late than never!
Why start my own Podcast? Because I've heard a few podcasts and thought..."Hey I can do this too!" Then I heard one that I thought "Hey! I can do WAY BETTER than these dudes!" And so I shall! My podcasting dominanace starts here and now!
11-04-09:I just added a chat room to the website. I'm thinking for my big 200 subscriber ultimate special I'll have a chat session on the site. Maybe I can get some traffic to the old homepage. That'd be cool! Haha it's the only thing I could come up with and I'm only a few subs away from 200...it might happen today! Exciting stuff.
10-10-09:Just added a list of my consoles to the collection page. Also handhelds are included. So Now there's not much left to list collection wise. Eventually I want to build a new site for mondocool. I want to have it focus purely on games and awesomeness and that's where my collection page will migrate too. I'll keep the collection page here and updated but it really belongs on mondocool. I want to learn to do the whole CSS thing when I build my new site so it'll probably be a while and be very basic.
10-02-09:It's been a while since I've worked on the site much. I've been thinking about the restructuring and what I want to do with it. I think the focus is going to definitely shift more towards video game crap and my youtube presence. Although this was originally a way to show off my video blog...but that's evolved into just making game videos and reviews. So I think the game page is just going to turn into the text review page for games. I also have a video game blog at mondocool.net and I'm not sure what I want to do with the domain name. I think I want to rebuild this website and move it to mondocool.net. So I'm thinking just keep this site as it is, then retool this site to make a game specific one and put that on mondocool.net. Or I could be a little less lazy and try to build a new site for mondo cool. I don't know dude, I'm lazy about this shit and always wait for moments of mass inspiration then work my ass off on it all at once. I guess I'll try to build a unique site for mondocool isntead of just repackaging this one.
But as always the collection page is updated. And this update has quite a few games spanning Dreamcast, N64, Ps2, Neo Geo and maybe even another system or two. Check that shit out. My collection is getting pretty dang massive!

05-01-09:Added a video to the Game page. Check out my entire Gameboy collection. It's pretty fucking awesome and I've got plenty of sweet games. Going through them I definitely want to review the Gameboy Camera and Mario Land3:Wario Land the only Game where Mario is clearly without a doubt a huge dickhead.

04-15-09:I added two pictures of myself to the gallery page. They're from when I was in the best shape of my life. Some dude was surprised when I said I do marathons because I get so fat and dumpy during the winter. But Now that I'm laid off I'll start super training like a beast again and probably look way fucking better than that shit. I plan on doing a Sub Four Hour Marathon this year, also some Triathalons. I'd like to try a Half Iron Man next year. Also Team Terrifying is coming.

03-26-09:Wow it's been a while since I've updated my website. I should add some links on my main page to my Twitter and my game blog. I've been keeping a pretty intense game blog lately. It mostly started when I was super geeked up about The Lost Vikings and how I finally beat it after like fifteen years. Then I suffered from Ebay-mania and bought a TON of video game related junk. Which brings me up to todays update! I've got a few new videos on my youtube. They're my very first video game review videos. I've been wanting to do some game related reviews and videos for some time now and yesterday on a random whim I made a couple. I've got a three part series on the Sega Netlink, a modem for the Sega Saturn. The first video is a brief overview of the Netlink, the second part is all of the menus and settings and the third part is an actual online match of Duke Nukem 3D. I'm not sure where I want to put my Netlink videos on the site. I might just make the dorky rants page my gaming page. So for now just go to my youtube channel.

12-08-08:I added another Dorky Rant. That might just become a video game section as that's what I'm most likely to rant about in a dorky way. It's another argument I hop into on video game forums. I'm going to take pictures or maybe even video to support my arguments. It's hard to argue with pictures let alone moving pictures with sounds! Also thanks to a late night infomercial type product I might have found a way to make a contribution to video gaming. I have to wait for it to arrive in the mail and try it out though. I will make a vlog about it as well as toss it in my dorky rant/video game section.
12-05-08:There was a fire at my job, so I whipped out the ol camera phone and got some video. Seeing as we're all getting laid off in about a month or two it's the perfect metaphor for my job. Going up in smoke. Also I found Mega Man 2 for $5, not bad. It's about time I started finding deals at the used game store near me. They still suck and I still hate their pricing scheme. Is it even legal to charge tax for used NES games?

11-07-08:There are a few interesting pieces of Jerry Terrifying news. The item I'm most impressed with is some one actually donated $5 to the Jerry Terrifying fund. I can assure you that person is quite cool and quite attractive and probably a lot of fun at parties. The second item that will probably interest people the most is that I'm now an ordained minister, so now you can call me Reverend! So if you need any exorcisms, baptisms or would like someone to perform your marriage or funeral ceremonies, look no further. Yes, legally I am a minister and I can legally perform your wedding. Pretty cool, eh? I do plan on fund raising and starting my own church, and I am 100% serious about that, I have a very idealistic dream that I think can do a lot of good. Lastly, I went on a 66 mile round trip bicycle ride Thursday morning. I'm pretty pumped about it. I think I'm going to make a page dedicated to my bicycle adventures that will double as a trail guide, with videos and texty word parts. I have a new video that will probably be redone Monday when I go on my next mega bike ride. But I plan on writing about, taking pictures of, making videos of all the points of interest on the Little Miami Scenic trail. Going from Dayton to Xenia, Xenia to Springfield and from Xenia to as far down south as I can make it. About 20 miles south of Xenia there are some ancient Indian ruins that I've been looking for. Thursday was the closest I've come to them but I had to turn back because I wouldn't have made it back home before it got dark if I took any longer. I'm pretty geeked about this bike trail guide. If you've ever wanted to get an ice cream cone in the middle of no fucking where you won't be out of the loop, trust me. Ice cream seems to be the biggest attraction on the trail for some reason.

10-23-08:Damn it's been like two months since I updated the main page. Lame. I've uploaded a shit load of video blogs. Check out the one about the hillbillies. I was scared for my life. Wouldn't you be if three mutant shot gun wielding hillbillies were showing you dead squirells in the middle of a scary forest? Oh the main hill billy was a cyclops. I think I have more video blogs but I'll save them for later. I've gone about 55 miles on my bike today, got a flat, was rescued by fellow cyclist/runners, and eaten like a whole box of cereal and am ready for sleep.
08-23-08:I ran my marathon this last Saturday. Mostly. I died out there pretty bad and I'm sure you could look up my terrible time. But I did it! One more medal for the collection. I've got some really terrible pictures and maybe a video on my phone that I'll upload sometime when I'm feeling up to the challenge. When I got home from the Marathon power had finally been restored to my home, that was sweet. Everything after the Marathon hurt for like two days. My legs were dead and my left foot in particular was in some pretty shitty pain. Hot and cold water helped it get back to normal. Anyway, I'm going to start training again tomorrow with a nice ten mile run before work. My target miles this week, 50. I think I can do it without so much trouble.
08-07-08:Five p.m. is the worst time to try and ride a bike. I almost got ran over on every corner. A million cars on every single street. Fucking sucks. Riding a bike is fun until you have to start obeying street traffic laws. It's still ok but stopping at every stop sign is a major turn off. Maybe I should have gone down to the bike trail. Maybe I still will do that. I wish I had my camera back, I want to take some pictures of my totally bitchin bike, and maybe take some pictures of my biking adventures.
08-01-08:Well lets see there's four Marathons I want to run. There'd be five but two of them are happening on the same weekend so maybe I'll run one then run a half the next day. We'll see how hardcore I am in October and if that's possible. I really want to go on this 25 mile bike ride. I think I'm going to take a day off or go on a Sunday. I'll take my camera with me and hope I come across something worth seeing.
07-25-08:Wednsday night I ran 19 miles. I'm getting awfully close to my marathon goals. The only thing that's holding me back is lack of funds for training. I need a couple hundred bucks to enter the four marathons that I want to run this year. Wouldn't it be nice if you used that donation link at the top of my page to help me run my marathons?

07-02-08:It's been 1,136 days since I stopped smoking and started getting all sexy and buff and shit. Also two days ago I ran 16 miles and I'm fucking geeked up about it.
No one else is that excited, but shit I am. in two weeks I want to be able to run at least 18 if not 20 miles. Those are the next big goals any way. Hmm I'm thinking about incorporating my training log into my main site, instead of just linking to my xanga.
I should stop using all the other crap on the internet and just have all my crap right here on my site, that'd make more sense. And maybe make it easier for people to get their Jerry Terrifying Fixes. I totally want to make a sweet page about my awesome bike I just bought a few weeks ago.
I've been putting a lot of miles on it whenever I can.

My post was so long and full of video evidence that I figured I'd keep it around so I could just link to it in the future as I've basically said this a million times sans video evidence. With only one half marathon under my belt and the lofty goal of qualifying to run in the Boston Marathon this September by running in and completing the USAF Marathon in Dayton Ohio. As part of my training I'm going to run in every half marathon and eventually in full marathons in preparation for the USAF Marathon where I hope to Qualify for the Boston or if I've already qualified set a personal record. 02-04-08:I saw Rambo last night. I was amazed. I love 80's action movies and especially the gory ultra violent ones. Rambo is the first movie to littery drop my jaw. it really is the worst horror movie ever made. If you've got the skrilla to waste, buy it. There are a few golden lines. "Holy shit! A mummy!" and "Banana's are horrible creatures! They mutilate their prey!"
Also I bought Zebraman. Which is really a touching story about living your dreams and flying Pegasus Unicorn Zebras killing aliens. Definitely buy that if you can handle subtitles. Which if you're coming to my site

01-05-07:New VLOGS. Nothing too great, but since I got feed back about my VLOG that was possitive, I'm all hyped on it.
So totally check out my new videos and when you see me on the street give me a high five. Especially you KFC you're my number 1 fan and shit.
Ever so slowly I'm gaining more and more new fans, some day I want to be an internet celebrity. Having tons of hate videos made about that bastard JERRY TERRIFYING.
I think I need to start saying JERRYTERRIFYING DOT COM at the end of each of my video to drive some traffic to this crap whole, I'll think about it and other ways I can sell out.
01-02-07:First entry for the new year. New video, for maximum emberrassment. I need to buy
a touring bicycle. I'm planning on going on a bike tour. I first started talking about it about eight months ago with a buddy from work.
Lately I've been feeling white line fever, the open road and adventure are calling me. So I think I'm going to go. It's going to be months, I have
plenty of preperations to make. Like I said a comfortable touring bike, bags or a trailer, lights, a cycle computer, a tent, other camping/cooking goodies,
thousands of dollars worth of funding in the bank, and the actual knowledge required to go on this adventure. So I'll work on
gaining actual camping experience, talking to the people I know that have gone on simmilar trips and other crap. But yeah, that's what's been on my mind.
I need to see the rest of my Country and I'm going to do it in style.
12-13-06:Some new VLOGS, new additions to my list of video games. I really need to add to my movie collcetion there's probably 60 DVD's I need to add.
Most notably season one of The Tick the animated series and the complete live action series of The Tick. I also bought the Super Mario Bros movie which is awesome, I still love it after all these years.
I've got a Wii and while that kept me happy for a few weeks Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops came out last week. So I copped that last Wednsday or Thursday I kind of forget and have already beaten it twice.
I think I might buy it for my nephew for Christmas, then we can battle online. It'll be cool kicking the ass of someone I know. I might buy my brother MGS3S so that both my nephews and Brother can get in on that.
That way they have the first and second part of Big Boss' story, and both online games so we can kick eachothers asses some more. I'd like to 1 Vs 1 duel them. I nerd out so hardcore for Metal Gear Solid, it's almost emberrassing.
I can't wait till I get me a Playsation 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out. Man, I've never wanted a video game so bad.
I've been thinking about making a pod cast. I don't know why or what it would be about. I mean not having anything to talk about hasn't stopped me from making a VLOG, but could I make my own pod cast?
I'm sure I could, I've got a PC and a microphone, I could get a couple friends to chip in. Maybe write some old timey radio plays. That's a fun idea. I'll kick it around.
10-22-06:Plenty of lame Halloween VLOGS added. I've got pictures to add but not the time to add them. I've got to start the arduous task of
studying for my PT certification. Woo woo. Have any of you seen the movie Cabin Boy? God damn that's a funny movie, seriously check it out. You can get it, and nearly everything else,
used and dirt cheap on Amazon.com. I've been buying so much crap off Amazon it's ridiculous. I've got like 5 CD's in the mail headed towards me, two more comic books,a shirt and probably
some other shit I've done forgot about. Also check out Riff Trax if you enjoyed MST3K. I bought the shit talking mp3 for Halloween and enjoyed it very much.
What else is there left to mention? I don't know I'm going to go play Lego Star Wars II.
09-26-06:I've been making video blogs. Hell I even got a comment and positive rating for one of them! So I don't know, enjoy that shit?
Also I decided I could toss my URL into some of my SIGS for various message boards and shit and have a section of the site devoted to listing my Online gaming info. Dope.
Still not entirely happy with this site. But oh the shit well, I'm going to start spreading it around. For shits and giggles.
09-26-06:I have no idea why I bought the domain name for this site. It was two dollars and Yahoo kept harassing me about it.
So I guess today is the day the site goes live! Even though it's been a month since I've dinked around with it. However people will get to see the 6 month old posts that no one other than myself have seen.
I've got some big plans for this site, most of which I just came up with a moment ago. I do have an account on youtube and do plan on making an internet show or at least a video blog or something. So this site
will be an awesome outlet for that. I do have the ability to make very low quality videos with my digital still camera, I can record up to an hour and fourty-seven minutes of video.
I'm also working on an adventuring website which so far as at least one section and another one in the works as soon as I get off my lazy ass and start scanning things. I guess I just wanted another personal website after all these years.
So enjoy, it you knuckle heads. Even though the most impressive thing it has right now is a list of video games and movies I own.
08-24-06:Still working at ABX and still need a digital camera. Found out my SNES and Top Loading NES still work. The power surge apparently
just fried the power cord. I think this weekend might be the weekend I finally get off my ass and buy my digital camera.
I really want one and I need it to beef up my THREE websites. I should maybe think about getting a digital video camera, so I can use it as a still camera and make videos/video blogs for this site.
I bought one of those lame door frame chin up bars, lets see when I get around to putting that up. I've been working out, as well as biking. My friend
from my last job got really hyped up on the idea of bike touring. I think next summer I'll invest in some bike accessories like a rack and some bags, a cycle computer and headlight.
07-03-06:I've been seriously busy. I've got my GED, still working the same job in Wilmington,
been hired on at ABX Air part time, still working out, still plan on going to college, and still planning on taking up the ways of the fist.
I want to work a little harder on this and my other websites. A4H has serious potential but I'm not an investigative reporter and don't know where to jump in.
This project just requires time and maybe a digital camera which I can now afford. I'd kind of like to have a podcast or video blog type show on the internet.
04-22-06:I've been working at the DHL Hub in Wilmington. There are some all right folks there.
Everyone loves me and wants me to have a promotion and a trophy. I'm all for that. I'm almost ready to take the GED test. I have to
finish the last bit of the math practice test then when I get my scores I'll go do the damn thing. I'm a little nervous about the Math part.
Seriously every other part of the test is a fucking joke. It's all reading short passages then answering questions about what
you just read four seconds ago. Easy. Math isn't so hard but I think I might have already forgotten what I've learned. ROFL 'n shit.
